U11s Blitz at the Weekend

The U11s headed to the Cooley Peninsula last Sunday in glorious sunshine to take part in a blitz, with Carlingford Knights RFC and Dundalk RFC. 

An early departure from Dublin and a scenic drive once we hit the Cooley Peninsula greeted us!

Our boys needed the first match to adapt to the very soft ground, and also the forwards dominated game plan from the local clubs. But once they did, they put in two very strong performances. Carlingford praised both our excellent ruck speed, and counter rucking which they found difficult to deal with!

The morning finished with a superb spread from Carlingford Knights RFC, and smiles all round in the sunshine.

Thanks as always to the great travelling support from the parents, and some local grandparents came out to support us too!
