Uganda Celebrations

On Friday evening Blackrock College RFC Past President, John Colclough, and distinguished Club Member, Johnny McGovern, attended The Republic of Uganda's 64th Independence Day Celebrations.

Members of the diplomatic corps, esteemed guests and the Ugandan community in Ireland commemorated this occasion to celebrate Uganda’s heritage.

A few images above from the event include photographs with Her Excellency Nimisha Madhvani, the High Commissioner of Uganda to the United Kingdom, & Dr. Sylvia Gavigan, Honorary Consul of Uganda to Ireland.

Thank you to both John & Johnny for representing the Club and reaffirming the relationship with our Ugandan friends.
