Lunch in Aid of Machakos 12th April

Blackrock College Gents Annual Lunch in Aid of Machakos takes place on Friday, 12th April 2024 at Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club.

What is Machakos? In 2010, Blackrock College got involved in building a school in Sultan, Hamad in Kenya which has grown to become a secondary school, technical college and a boarding school that facilitates 540 boys and 40 girls from 15 tribes. Each year since 2010 (with a gap for Covid) a team of post leaving cert students and some parents (all self funded) have travelled to Machakos to provide hands on help with this project. This year the trip will build the final floor of the dormitory. The Gents lunch raises money for the building supplies required for the next phase of the build.

Blackrock College Gents Lunch in Aid of Machakos takes place on Friday, 12th April at Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club. The tickets are selling at the €100 per ticket or €1000 per table. Please email gentslunch2024@gmail.com and they will organise a table for you.
