Frequently Asked Questions
What are the discounts for multiple mini players in a family?
Yes, as follows:
2 players get a discount of €22.50 each, bringing the price for two from €440 to €395
3 players get a discount of €40 each, bringing the price for two from €660 to €540
4 players get a discount of €55 each, bringing the price for two from €880 to €660
5 players for the price of 4 bringing the price for five from €1100 to €660.
Is this the only way to register Mini and Youth players?
Yes.
What period does registration cover?
The season usually runs from early-September to mid-May.
What if I don't want to register yet?
If a player is not registered online then he/she is not officially part of the age group and you are not permitted to train or play matches for the club. You are not covered by insurance and the parent is not considered a member of the club. If you can't afford to register right now please email blackrockminis@gmail.com in confidence and we will work it out.
Can I get a refund if my child doesn't want to play?
We will refund your registration fee in full if you change your mind one month into the season. We will refund on a pro-rata basis after that.
Can I play my son with his friends in a different group to his year of birth?
The answer to this frequently asked question is 'no'. Leinster / Irish Rugby rules are strict on this and furthermore the Club's decision is final in this matter.
What is the player information being used for?
Player's year of birth define which group the player will belong. Please be careful when entering the player names and year of birth as we will use these details for the season.
Also your payment contact details - specifically email address - and phone number are passed to the relevant coaching groups to ensure you receive communications for training and matches. Your email address will also be added to the Club email newsletter. You can unsubscribe from this list any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of the email. By registering, you are granting permission to the Club to use your personal information for these purposes.
Agreement to club policies
By purchasing registration / membership to Blackrock College RFC you are agreeing to the club video/image policy and the club code of conduct, both available on the club website.
