Women's Weekend Recap

Blackrock Women enjoyed a successful afternoon at Old Belvedere on Saturday, securing two bonus-point wins in challenging, blustery conditions. 37 players represented the club across the two fixtures, highlighting the strength and depth of the squad and the competition for places within the group. 

The day also marked two important returns. Méabh Deely lined out for Rock following her Rugby World Cup campaign with Ireland, while Natasja Behan made her comeback after a long and grueling injury lay-off. It was a real boost to see them back out on the pitch in Blackrock colours. 

Two hard-fought performances, two deserved results — an excellent step forward for the club as the season builds momentum.

A break weekend this week coming, followed by another feisty double header away to Railway Union RFC. As always, all traveling support welcome and appreciated!
