Summer Camps Were a Hit

Ian Madigan has a Q&A to remember at Blackrock Rugby Summer Camp last month

Over 500 kids came through Stradbrook to attend camps last month.

Friend of the club Peter Quinlan of PQ Coaching hosted two weeks of soccer camps in the beginning of the month, after running several successful camps in the year prior.

The week of 17-21 July featured Blackrock College RFC's first Blackrock Rugby Camp featuring Ian Madigan. Over 300 kids aged 5 to 16 came to learn rugby skills and make new friends.

All three camps were sponsored by Eddie Rocket's Stillorgan, who provided gear and lunch on the final day. A huge thank you to Eddie Rocket's for their support!

Thank you too, to all the kiddos who came out for these camps and, most importantly, to the parents who signed them up and brought them for pick-ups and drop-offs! We had a blast and hope you did too.

After the success of last month, Blackrock College RFC plans to host more camps during school breaks. The next round of camps will take place at Stradbrook in October. More information coming soon.
