Hello everyone,
Last weekend was a very successful one for the Club. On Friday night, our Seconds had a wonderful victory against the league leaders Belvedere and are setting themselves up now for a run in the cup. On Saturday, the First team got back to winning ways with a comprehensive win against UL Bohemians. This along with results elsewhere have narrowed the gap at the top to 3 points and with only 6 games remaining. It looks like we are in for a nail biter of a finish.
The match was preceded by another great turnout at the lunch and wonderful to see a number of faces that haven't been around in a while. Thank you all for coming.
Our Women's senior team got their AIL cup campaign to a winning start on Saturday night, and then on Sunday the Women's J1 team had a great result against Trinity. So all in all it was a great weekend on the pitch for the club.
The Men's senior team take a break now for a few weeks, but all other teams continue their league campaigns and their fixtures are listed here.
The poll we ran last week asking you about the proposed tackle height laws being discussed showed a near 86% result in favour of no change to existing laws. Thank you to everyone who participated.
Have a good week and hope to see you around the club later in the week.

Here are the results from last week's poll about whether the new tackle laws being introduced in the UK should be introduced in Ireland:
