Hello everyone,
Hope you all had a good Easter.
Congratulations to our Women's team who beat Wicklow last Saturday and are now in the final of the plate completion of the AIL. This will be against Galwegians on the 23rd April in Galway.
This week sees a big week of cup Rugby. It commences with our Men's J1 team in action in the quarter final of the cup against DLSP, which was scheduled for Tuesday night at Stradbrook, but has been delayed due to flooded pitches. The refixed date is still TBC and will be added to the calendar when we have the details.
On Saturday, our Men's First team complete their league programme in Ballymena, where a win for Rock and a loss for Queens in Cork would see us crowned champions. It is more likely we will be facing a semi-final playoff the following Saturday 22nd in Stradbrook.
Then on Sunday, the 16th, our Under 20's play in the semi-final of the cup at home in Stradbrook at 2.30 v Galway.
As usual, we ask for as much support as possible for all teams, away and at home. The club is enjoying great momentum at present and would be fantastic to carry it through to the end of the season.
Please also put a note in your diary for our Annual Dinner on Friday, 12th May, where we are hoping for another big crowd.
