What a great weekend of rugby coming up in Stradbrook!

Congratulations firstly to our Men’s 2nd XV and coaches Ed O’Rahelly, Steve Lamb and Jack Gardiner for our comprehensive victory against Monkstown in Stradbrook last Sunday which augers very well for the season ahead. What a great start to the Metro League campaign! Congratulations to Matty McCarthy for scoring 4 tries and winning the Man Of The Match Award.

It’s great to see all our Mens and Womens teams playing such an exciting brand of attacking rugby which is a great tribute to the Players, Coaches and New Structures in place following up the Mens’ and Womens’ recent successful Tours to Barcelona and Toulouse.

We look forward to the start of the Energia AIL this Saturday Sep 26th at 2.30pm in Stradbrook versus MU Barnhall.

Thanks to everybody for booking in such great numbers to attend the first pre match lunch of the new season on Saturday, for what should be a fantastic day. Special thanks to the newly renamed "RockPort" group for coming back with a table at every home lunch, along with a new gang dubbed "Last of the Summer Wine" for also booking a table at all the lunches this season- it's great to have such fantastic support from our incredible members. It's wonderful to have our minis represented too, with the Parents of the U12s taking 2 tables. There are many more guests coming to the lunch and I look forward to welcoming all and thank you to everyone for your support!

We wish the 1st XV Team, Coach Luke Hickey and his supporting coaches the very best of luck and let’s all get behind them for this crucial game.

I wish the best of luck to all the Rock teams who are competing this weekend and I encourage all to get out and support our teams. The first match kicking off the weekend is a Friday Night Lights to cheer on the Men's J1 Team in their Metro League Qualifier against Terenure, KO 8pm.

We wish our 3rds all the best when they play DUFC in the Metro League at Home this Saturday in Stradbrook, KO 12.30pm. It's their opening match of the Season, and what a great appetizer match before the Big Game!

Good luck this Sunday to our Womens’ 2nd XV in their opening Leinster League match of the Season at Home versus Balbriggan, KO 1pm.

Our Under 20s also kick off their Season, away in Terenure this Sunday, KO 8pm and we wish all our new players and coach Mark McGinty all the best.

We wish the Under 17s the best of luck in their game too.
