On Saturday, 23rd March, the Senior Men took on Old Belvedere at home. It was the first time the two teams had played each other at Stradbrook since the 2011/12 season.
The pre-match lunch was sold out weeks in advance with over 250 in attendance. Tables spilled out from the hall. Hundreds more packed into the sidelines and the bar, ready to cheer on their side.
Belvo lead for most of the match, but Blackrock came through in the final seconds, scoring a try in the corner.
Minis from Blackrock and Belvo kept the crowd on their toes while they played at half-time.
