Blackrock College RFC are proud to support Ohana ZERO suicide in the launch of its new free online training on Suicide Awareness.

Ohana ZERO suicide is an Irish suicide prevention volunteer movement that officially launched in December 2020 by a group of likeminded men and women. Today Ohana celebrates 1 million hits and the launch of their new free 3rd level Suicide Awareness online training. They offer a general suicide awareness training as well.

Trainings only take 20-30 minutes to complete and empower trainees to:

  • Identify signs someone may be struggling or suicidal

  • Employ the correct language in asking appropriate questions

  • Direct that person to the appropriate help

In advance of World Suicide Prevention Day (Sunday 10th September), Ohana are encouraging everyone to join the movement and complete the free online training that could help save someone's life.

For more information, visit Ohana ZERO suicide, or contact ohanazerosuicide@gmail.com.
