Blackrock College RFC are one of only three Dublin rugby clubs to be approved as eligible for an EV grant from the Dept Sports, Transport and Tourism.
The work on this will likely start after Christmas.
The grant covers the cost of installing electric vehicle charge points at sports club facilities affiliated to recognised national governing bodies.
