20s Tour to Bristol

The 20s travelled to Bristol Friday morning with an early meeting time of 4.30am in the airport.

The lads enjoyed a stroll around Bristol city centre before we headed to Bristol University sports complex for our game. 

We lost a high scoring entertaining affair 40-33. The highlight was post match where the lads had food and drinks with the opposition for a couple of hours post game. We really were treated superbly by Bristol University and hopefully can return the favour in the future. The lads enjoyed a night out post game.

Saturday we attended the Bristol Bears vs Exeter chiefs prem cup game at Ashton Gate and then went to a local bar to watch the England Vs Wales 6 nations game before returning early Sunday morning to Dublin.

This is the 2nd 20s trip to the UK and we think it’s important to uphold the amateur touring tradition of rugby. 

Hopefully we can use it as a stepping stone to finish the season strong.
