On a mild Wednesday the 26th of December, Stradbrook opened its doors during the Christmas break for a special fundraiser, the annual St Stephen's Day GOAL Mile. With hundreds of participants running, walking and jogging 4 laps around the top pitch, we successfully raised over €2500.

A big thank you to Conor Coghlan who once again organised the event, as well as kept registration going for the day from 10am - 4pm. Thanks to all the generous participants, including the tippers and tag players, many of whom after their respective matches then participated or contributed to the GOAL Mile.

2016's GOAL Mile total raised was €500, and 2017's total saw just over €800, so it's great to know that this event is growing each year- please continue to spread the word!
