On Friday, 26th of January, 185 guests gathered in Stradbrook to support a fundraiser dinner for the Under 12s minis as they prepare for their upcoming tour to Biarritz, France. Considered a rite of passage, this annual tour is the final Minis tour before they advance to the U13s Youths team. This year 42 boys, accompanied by 44 coaches and parents, will travel to compete against their French counterparts. The funds raised at the dinner will directly cover some of the expenses of this two-day tour.

In addition to a 3 course meal, catered by Vinny Hanlon Caterers, along with several raffle drawings and an auction, guests were treated to a speaker panel including many Rock legends- Shane Byrne, Paul Flavin, Paul Wallace, David Beggy and Emmet Farrell. Emcee duties were performed by the one and only, Michael Jackson. It was a fantastic evening and we wish all the Under 12 players, parents and coaches all the best as they prepare for their tour in May.
