The club's name comes from its historic foundation with Blackrock College but the Mini & Youth Rugby players come from 55 different schools from all over Dublin and Leinster. We are one of the biggest Mini and Youth clubs in Ireland with 524 players from 390 separate families, 130 coaches, 6 former international players and 15 provincial players.
The youths section have U13, U14, U15, U16, U17 and U18/19  squads spanning players born between 2000 and 2006.

Registration for the new season is open now and ensures you will receive all communication in relation to your group as soon as the season begins. It represents excellent value for money and is only €120 for U13s to U19s.   Registering is easy

We are particularly looking forward to welcoming new players born between 2006 (U13) and 2000 (U19) to our club. No previous playing experience is necessary and we welcome players of all abilities.

All youths coaches are IRFU qualified to a minimum of Stage 2 up to U15 and Stage 3 up to U19s and are Garda vetted. Rugby is played on a Sunday with some age groups running a midweek training session and strength and conditioning in the gym under the supervision of the club's S&C Shane Cahill.

If unsure, why not come down on a Sunday morning to Stradbrook and meet the players and coaches and maybe join in some of the training activities.  Youths rugby is generally between 11:00 and 1PM although best to check times with the club or myself. All new players are guaranteed a warm welcome whether a veteran or new to rugby.
