The Blackrock Ladies come back from the 2017 - 2018 season hungry for more after claiming an All Ireland Plate and finishing fifth in the All Ireland League. Retaining the majority of last year’s squad, and the addition of six promising players joining the ranks thanks to the newly established mentorship programme, the momentum in
fast building as the ladies have collectively set their sights on a move up the AIL ladder in the upcoming 2018 season.
A revamped Coaching panel will see the women put through their paces by 2013 Irish Women’s Grand Slam winning coach, Philip “Goose” Doyle. Goose, will be joined by Joseph Halpin who returns after a successful first season with the forwards last year. and an impressive eleven Blackrock ladies have
been selected to represent BCRFC on a larger
