Dear Parents,
It is that time of the year again – the Blackrock Mini Rugby Christmas Party. This year’s event will be held in the Clubhouse on Saturday the 15th of December 2018 from 12 noon to 4pm.
As usual Santa will be coming to Stradbrook on a fire engine, we will then be having a Christmas party in the Clubhouse, and we will all then go into the Heineken Champions Cup Match in the Aviva Stadium, which this year is Leinster vs Bath. We will all be sitting together in the same block in the Aviva. A private bus is organised which will bring us into the Aviva and then back to Stradbrook afterwards.
This year’s format (and price) will largely be the same as last year.
Child’s Party (including food and Santa) is Eur 10.
Child’s Match Ticket is Eur 10.
Child’s Return Bus Ticket is Eur 10.
Child’s Combo Ticket for all of the above is Eur 30.
Adult’s Party (including a delicious buffet provided by Knights Catering) is Eur 20.
Adult’s Match Ticket is Eur 30.
Adult’s Return Bus Ticket is Eur 10.
Adult’s Combo Ticket for all of the above is Eur 60.
The plan for the day is as follow:
12:00 – Party starts with Santa's Elves (Face painting, Balloon Animals, Games, Music etc).
12:30 – Santa arrives by Fire Engine
13:00 – Each Child meets separately with Santa in the President’s room, and receives a Selection Box for their trip to the Aviva.
13:30 – Kids food
14:00 – Magic show
14:00 – Adults buffet served
16:00 - Party ends
16:00 – 16:15 Busses leave Stradbrook for the Aviva
17:30 – Leinster Match kicks off.
19:45 – 20:00 Bus leaves the Aviva for Stradbrook
The cut off for purchasing your match tickets is the 1st of December 2018, simply because we have to get our match ticket application into the Leinster Branch so that we can all sit together. Please do not leave this to the last minute. Every year we are inundated with requests for tickets after the deadline has passed – so please buy your tickets as soon as possible for what is guaranteed to be a great day.
